Where do I begin? Let's go in reverse chronological order, shall we? I worked today, and I came home this evening to find that my five and a half month old Ellie had acquired a brand new skill while I was gone - panting! Turn up the volume and enjoy!
Panting baby (10/25)
And here is Elliott hanging out with her new monster friend, hand-sewn by our friend Tim. This was a "thank you" gift for lending him our sewing machine. I love that it has her name stitched onto the back pocket of the overalls. This picture cracks me up because Ellie's eyes are strangely crossed, which makes her and her monster friend a nice match! Thank you so much for the sweet gift, Tim!
Weird and wonky friends (earlier this morning)
Last night, Ryan, Elliott, and I ventured to my friend Lisa's house for her annual Halloween party. We had such a good time, and certainly enjoyed showing off our little cow. Moo!
Love the hooves! (10/24)

The Smiddleton Middlewartz family has gone completely rural!
With Lisa, the pirate host. Yarrrr!
Finally, we find ourselves all the way back to a week ago, when my parents were here on their trip from NJ. While visiting, we explored the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens on one of the most beautiful days of all time. It was so very relaxing and lovely!
Elliott Rose poses with her namesake (10/16)
Checking out the carp in the Japanese gardens
Gramma and baby
Rarely photographed together - me and my Ellie!
Of course, while they were here we also watched the Phillies kick a lot of baseball butt. We're pretty sure the shirt was a good luck charm!
Pop-pop and Ellie - my two favorite Phillies fans! (10/18)
I just adore this photo of my parents with their little grand daughter, taken on the day they had to fly out of TX. We're so glad you guys visited and can't wait to see you again in February!
A whole lotta love! (10/20)
