So, I finally got my butt around to taking Elliott to a photo studio to have professional pictures taken. My mom came with me and, being the crazy Gramma she is, shelled out the dough to buy some portraits for us and the family. Thanks Mom!
The shoot went pretty much exactly as I expected, with not a smile in sight (despite the sweet photographer's energetic efforts.) Don't get me wrong, Elliott often smiles and giggles for us. But enter a stranger, and she's in serious mode, stat. On the plus side, there were no tears, just some good old fashioned glaring. Still, I think these capture my little girl's essence pretty well!
By the way, my best bud Amy gave her the adorable green polka dot dress for her birthday, and you might remember the puffy birthday dress that my mom had bought her for the big day.
