One thing I just
love about living in DC is all the fun free stuff there is to do. Today we took advantage of the lovely weather and headed out for a picnic on the National Mall. We ate tuna sandwiches and PB&J, watched people fly kites, took a ride on the carousel, and visited the Museum of Natural History (we are completing it in phases and probably have about one more trip there to go.) Ellie loved seeing the "dine-soar" bones and roared a lot. She is such a great tourist, only breaking down once when a nice lady was a little too emphatic saying "hello" to her on the elevator - oh, the waterworks! Here are some pictures and a really cute video of Ellie and her daddy having fun on the Mall:

Lots of fun on the National Mall!
I can't wait for my next visit so I can have another picnic with you! She is precious. I loved the huge smiles I got today on our video chat! Missing you as always.
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable little family! I love seeing all the fun things y'all do!
ReplyDeleteCute! The National Mall is fabulous! It is great to live in the place that belongs to YOU the U.S. citizen, hence all the free stuff!
