Anyway, I am loving it here. I've always dreamed of living in a squeaky, crooked old house, one with lots of character and history to it, and now I have my very own! It was built in 1907, so it's over 100 years old (with plenty of squeak to it.) I also love that I can look out one of our many windows and watch people on the street or gaze out over trees, rooftops, and gardens (the flowers are in bloom!) We can also head out the door for a stroll to the corner market or through streets lined with gorgeous old houses. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we are enjoying our new house:

our house
As promised, here are the photos of our house, taken earlier this week just after we moved in. Phew, we've come a long way, baby! We are currently living only on our main floor; the top floor, where the kids' rooms and a second bathroom will eventually be, is down to the studs, with plans for Ryan to finish it out in the future. He certainly won't run out of work to do anytime soon (neither will I, trying to keep all the hardwood floors clean!)
