bon voyage to my little sis!

You may not know this, but the whole reason I live in Texas is because of my little sister and one of my bestest bud's, Kristen. I was visiting her for about 3 weeks back in February of 2006 when I randomly met Ryan at a coffee shop in Denton, where she lived for 3 years or so. Well, Kristen finally decided to follow one of her lifelong dreams and move to California, and she left just last Sunday.

What's wonderful is the fact that she spent a month living with Ryan and I (along with her cats Chema and Baxter) just before she left on her journey - we got to spend lots of quality time together. My father came down from NJ last Friday to drive out there with her so she wouldn't have to go it alone, and it was great seeing him, too! I sure will miss having my sister around, but I'm really excited for her and can't wait to visit!

    I'm envious! ;-) San Diego is gorgeous and its one of my dreams to move out to Cali as well. Eventually I will!

    Sad! You and your sister are so cute together! I have never seen a pic of her even though I have heard lots of stories about her. Good luck to her on her new adventure!
