sitting up! | for my sister | a little late latte

Ellie turns 6 months old in just two days. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I am amazed at how fast the time is flying by! She has accomplished so much in a mere half a year. Today she was squirming along on the floor, when all of the sudden, she hoisted herself up onto her bottom and sat up for about a minute or so, playing with her rattle. This isn't the best shot, as I wasted a lot of time oohing and aahing before I grabbed the camera, but it'll have to do!

Kristen, you asked for more videos, so here you go. I was trying to capture the incessant babbling that pretty much occurs only while eating. The camera unfortunately stunned her into silence, but the footage is still messy and cute! (As you can see, she has vastly improved her eating skills since that first try a few weeks ago.)

Oh, and I almost forgot to share this photo of her in front of Ryan's humongous latte this past Saturday, when we visited a friend's coffee shop (Big Mike's Coffee) in Denton. We enjoyed very large drinks, live Irish music, and good conversation!
