yogurt painting | my hair: 1 week in

Poor Little Miss Elliott. She felt really crappy today, smiling a bit one minute and bawling in the most pitiful way the next. She has a runny nose, a hoarse voice, and a mild fever. First I thought she was just teething and suffering from allergies, but she started feeling warm and ended up having a fever of about 101. We have been really lucky thus far with germs; she was only sick once her entire first year, with a minor stomach bug. I guess we're due for some good old fashioned sickies. Here's hoping she's on the up and up by tomorrow.

So today we did our first baby art project - yogurt painting! All it involves is yogurt, food coloring, and a baby willing to make a mess. Enjoy the video (I think you'll agree that she looks pretty under the weather, even while having fun...)

Yogurt painting (Today)

Tastes good!

Here, let me paint YOU!

On a side note, I decided to document my hair growing-in process, probably more for my entertainment than for yours. You can't really tell from photos, but my hair has actually grown some in just one week. It's definitely sticking up higher on my scalp than after it was freshly shorn. I guess I can tell, because it's my head!
