happy half birthday!

Our little Zoey turned 6 months old today!! Even though I am super-exhausted (remember that good sleeper I once bragged about? She pulled a 180 a few months ago and has become a wake-up-every-few hours and scream-until-I-nurse and rise-for-the-day-at-6 kind of girl), I would be completely remiss to not take a moment before bed for a shout out to our birthday lady.

For Zoey's half birthday, she ate fruit (apples, to be exact) for the very first time, and enjoyed them even more so than her rice cereal! She's been dusting my parents' floors lately with her very successful army crawl attempts, and I do believe she is about to sprout a new tooth any day now (at least I'm speculating this since she's been overly fussy and attacking everything she can get her little mouth on in a most rabid-like manner.) We love you, baby Zoey! Where, oh where, did half a year go?
